Before leaving Fergus Falls, the three of us had breakfast at a local cafe recommended by our host. Breakfast was really good, and above all necessary for the long ride ahead. We would ride over 110 miles today, and the majority of our riding would be along bike paths. Our host was kind enough to ride along the first 20 to 25 miles with us along the Central Lakes Trail. The sun was with us for about an hour or so, but it eventually became overcast. After splitting up from our host, we rode for about another 90 minutes before it began to rain. For the next two hours or so, we rode through a steady rain; the first steady rain of the entire trip! Around 2:30pm, the rain stopped around Freeport, MN. Drying out for the remaining 40-45 miles was a good way to conclude riding for the day. Once in St Cloud, we had ridden 118 miles for the day. We unwound at our host's residence and had a light dinner before relaxing and watching Rogue One. We didn't stay up terribly late, as we were pretty worn out from riding. On the upcoming day, we would ride on to Minneapolis/St Paul.
