Back in October of 2016, a good friend from college mentioned that he had an interest in riding his bicycle across the country.  This has been an interest of mine for several years, but I was unaware of any friends that shared this interest.  Within fractions of a second, my interest in undertaking the varied challenges of such a journey was reinvigorated.  No longer dormant was this interest... and it has been anything but stagnant in any capacity since that day in October.

The trip from 2017 was indubitably the most amazing adventure that I've experienced in my three decades ambling around this world.  However, not going all the way to the Atlantic coast resulted in an itch that could not be scratched for quite some time.  I intend to change that this summer: I will ride from Newport, Oregon to Atlantic City, New Jersey.  Hope you enjoy following along!
